I love this show....and miss it.
HAHAHA and I love Eric's "Feeny" call....
Man...they had great chemistry on that show. Plus, I love the name "Topanga"...and how everyone on the series says that name.

    "To-PANG-a!"
    Haha I'm okay.

I loved this show. It seems like every summer since I can remember it was on the air but this summer they didn't show it and I am extremely disappointed. I have an avatar saved to my computer from it too:

Those are really cool ^^ :tehe:.
I totally remember that episode in the last icon :cheese:
Minkus was a really sweet character on that show in the beginning, I'm kind of disappointed they didn't keep him throughout the entire show...He just kind of disappeared.
Then again, that show did have some continuity problems...

    Thanks.
I know what you mean about continuity problems. I was disappointed when Minkus just disappeared.Cry I was happy that Eric never left. He and Minkus were my two favorite characters and at least one survived.

Eric was defiitely my favorite :con: I just really liked Minkus too, because he brought in a lot of clever jokes and such. I remember one episode where Feeny is yelling at Cory for making paper airplanes in class, and Cory's like 'you don't ever yell at Minkus when he makes airplanes' and it cuts to Minkus making like, this intricate paper airplane with propellers and everything :lmfao:

They did have continuity problems though. Like how there's this one episode where Cory's hair is all screwed up, because Shawn tried to fix it up or something (I remember, he puts on a hat, and when he takes it off, his hair has sculpted into the shape of the hat, and everyone calls him Duckhead, or something). When Shawn is trying to fix Cory's hair afterward, he's calling his sister on the phone for advice...Shawn never has a sister after that, or any other siblings, except for Jack, like years later.

For some reaso, that always kind of bothered me...

Eric brought the really stupid jokes while Minkus brought jokes with a bit more intelligence to them. I loved that airplane bit. I was laughing for hours after seeing that. :tehe:

I know what you mean. A few seasons later it was just Shawn and Jack, and all I remembered was the fact that Shawn also had a sister. And I knew I remembered it and that I wasn't going crazy Disgust

    That really bothered me too.

Now that I think about it, there was a lot of continuity problems, that I'm just now remembering.

I guess Topanga would be one; I mean, she's a great character and all, and I know it makes sense for people to change as they get older. But her personality change was like whoa. She used to be such a knowledgeable hippie-like nerd; I remember she meditated and everything. And then out of nowhere, she starts acting really girly. I guess I would have appreciated it, if she kept the whole hippie kind of personality =/

I also noticed that Topanga's parents also changed throught the show. But I accept it with all of its continuity problems. I'd rather have the problems than No Boy Meets World.... Life would have been wayyyyy different if this show was never created.

That is true. I apologize, I get really like, movie-critical about these things XD. The show is still one of the best shows ever created, (right up there next to the Sopranos, in my opinion), despite its continuity issues. I grew up with this show; I think I'd have a pretty bland childhood without it.

I know what you mean. I get very annalitical with the shows I love. I always tend to find a problem with them or how it's changing the plot line (like boy meets world has done)

But yeah my childhood would have been boring without Boy Meets World AND Growing Paines.

Exactly. I mean, I know screen-writers for shows aren't perfect and are bound to make mistakes with the writing (which I guess makes sense, since they would need new writers every once in a while for a show like Boy Meets World that spans over years and years). But this stuff still bugs me x]

This show used to be like, a relief for me; I could come home from a long day of school and just watch this show and enjoy. It's like, one of my best TV-related childhood memories, alongside Rocko's Modern Life, or the other Disney classics, like Smart Guy, Sister, Sister, or the Even Stevens. God, I miss how great Disney used to be...their shows suck now .__.

Same here, after school i would plop down on the couch and go into a world of Boy Meets World...

0_0 I completely forgot about Smart Guy. That was such a good show. I miss that show so much, now I must youtube it for some episodes :tehe:

But yeah, Disney has gone done in quality from Cartoon shows to Real People TV shows. It's just disgusting to watch some of the crap they put out.

I honestly can't stand any television shows anymore; unless it's a quality, well-done drama series on HBO, I'm not watching it, because it's either, the plot of the show has been dumbed down so only eleven-year-olds get into it. Same with Nickelodeon too. I really don't understand what was so bad about all those classic shows we used to love, that made the people working at Disney replace all of them with complete crap. Boy Meets World taught valuable life lessons to younger viewers, it was educational, and parents could enjoy watching it just as much as their children (well, I don't know about anybody else, but my mom used to adore boy meets world, just as much as my brother and I did). What the hell is some show about kids living in a fancy hotel, going to teach any of its younger viewers? (At least, I'm pretty sure that's what one of the new disney shows is about).

Okay...I'm done :shifty [/much needed modern-day television rant]

I miss this show, it was so awesome! But they have a lot of the episodes on youtube in three parts, so I watch those now since this is never on now.
