I love Gossip Girl. I've only read few of the books but I looove the TV Series.
Yep. Guilty pleasure and no one can stop me from watching it.

What they're showing in the Philippines is a few episodes late, though. :/ Or maybe it's more than few.
What was the last episode you saw? I don't want to spoiling anything :tehe:

    Question:
I really want to write a Gossip Girl slash story featuring Nate and Chuck. If I do, how many of you guys will read it?
    Ooh, go for it! :tehe:
Sounds like something I would read. Shifty

I missed this week's show but last week was the Christmas episode. :shifty I mean the episode when Blair's father came back with his lover. Yep, I feel like I'm waaaaaaaaaay behind. DX

I love Gossip Girl. I've never read the book, but I love the TV show.

My favorite character is Chuck Bass because a) he's a sexy beast, and b) he's cocky; Chuck Bass is the epitome of lust. I lust him, haha. :) Ed Westwick is SO hot. At first I had a HUGE crush on Chace (Nate), but he started to get on my nerves for some reason. That's when Ed came into the picture.

What band is he in? I wanna hear his singing voice!

I just feel it's a bunch of phony shit teaching young girls how to be shallow and materialistic and to reach for unattainable goals.
Your allowed to like it , of course , but i prefer a bit more substance

I love Gossip Girl so much. I was always so paranoid about watching all of the episodes; each one was so suspenseful. haha.

I had to say that Nate was my favorite. He's such a cutie. =]

Chuck Bass really reminds me of Brendon Urie. Sometimes while I watch the show it distracts me. Haha.

The ending was so intense, though. I can't wait for the next season.

It doesn't teach me to be materialistic, to be shallow, or reach for unattainable girls. Its just mindless TV with an interesting storyline following upper east side new yorkers- which is exactly how they act in real life. So really it isn't portraying anyone falsly, perhaps just overexaggerating. And I like shows with substance, but sometimes its better to sit down and watch some mindless drama that only makes you think "is nate and chuck gay??"

    -

The ending annoyed me! I wanted Chuck...to change a little >_>
I hate that I have to wait until freaking september to find out what happens to everyone >_<

I'd read a slash with Nate and Chuck. I was expecting them to go at it in the finale anyway. =)
I always knew Chuck would mess up with Blair. He values his independence too much. The question is if he'll regret it.
Yes, it's mindless tv. Yes, it's a guilty pleasure. After coming home from work or school, I don't want to think. I want to get wrapped up in a world that I am eons from and laugh, cry, and gasp at it. It's called entertainment.

EXACTLY. Mondays I used to have work for 7 hours, then class right after for two hours. It was a pleasure to be able to watch Gossip Girl with my two sisters and just not have to worry about ANYTHING. Just if Chuck is going to hook up with Nate anytime soon :file:

I really love this show. When it first came out, I was like, "Oh great, another teenage drama show." but now, after watching it, I fell in love with it. I have one of the GG books, too ;]

My fav. character is Chuck. I don't know why, I just like him.

    Honestly, I hate the books.
Gossip Girl annoyed me until I saw the TV show which my sisters forced me to watch. I find the tv show more interesting & likable than the books. My favorite character has to be Serena. She's fun. lol

But yeah, I have to agree that it sort of teaches girls to act like them. Well, those girls who are stupid enough to act like that anyway. But aren't all TV shows like that? We all need a little of those kinds of TV shows once in a while =]

Can't wait for season two! I want to see what happens to Blair haha

The show is good-ish. Sometimes the drama is too much for me though.

Geez, I read the books back when I was, like, eleven. And seeing as I don't have television, I have to watch it via the wonderful Internet. I like how you don't know who Gossip Girl is because it gives a bit of mystery to it. :cute:

I never know what time/day it comes on.
But I've seen the episode where Serena and Dan go to the breakfast brunch thing and Chuck has the black eye or whatever.

    I love it. =]

I love the Internet! I'm watching episode 13 (Sidereel has links to all episodes, saves me looking around for ages. :D). Can you say major drama? :cheese: Love it!

My favorite is Chuck Bass. I know he is an asshole but, God, he is just the funniest character. And Ed Westwick does an amazing job protraying him. That's one of the things I like about the TV show- more than the book- they made Chuck more of a main character, and made him more of a multidementional character.
I love Chuck too! I didn't think anyone liked him, but me! In Love
