Salad

I don't know about you, but I could probably live off of salad if I had to.
It's so good. And good for you too. :mrgreen:
What's your favorite type of salad? What do you like to put in your salad? And what kind of dressing do you like on your salad?

My favorite dressing would probably Thousand Island, or maybe French. And I love putting cheese, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes in my salad. You? :cute:

I like salad with a little bit of olive oil and vinegar.

I don't really like salad that much, but if I have to have it, I tend to keep it fairly simple, without any dressing. Usually I'll have spinach leaves (healthier than lettuce, plus it tastes better imo), cucumber slices, and chopped carrots and celery. Sometimes I'll have ranch dressing with bacon, but not very often.

Ultimate salad: lettuce leaves, cucumber, grated cheese (and don't be stingy with it) and crushed crisps... cover in ketchup.

It's salad, it's gotta be healthy, right?

Ceasar salad FTW. I went out one day with my friends' dads' money that he'd asked me to spend on a yummy salad and I bought all the fixin's for it ... and it was never made. :cheese: I was sad.

my favorite is either Ceasar with bacon crumbles and croutons, or iceberg and romaine with cucumber, carrots, and lunch meat (turkey or something of the sort) with ranch or italian...depends on my mood.

I love salad. :yah I love it with ranch, Colby Jack cheese, and sometimes croutons. I'm fairly picky with the ranch, too. I don't know what brand I have, though. :XD I also always pick out the purple-ish things in the salad if it's from a bag. I think they're radishes. I don't like them, whatever they are. :grr:

My salads consist of a quarter lettuce and cucumber, three quarters cheese

I love chicken ceaser salads too. And there used to be a place in my area called Semolina's (it closed down. *sad*), that made the most amazing antipasta salad ever. It was incredible.

But I love Greek Salad. Olives and feta are simply heavenly. :3

I don't eat salads too often, but when I do and I have everything I like on them...I really love them. I don't really care for lettuce that much, as lettuce. But I can eat it in a salad, only as long as there is dressing. I usually eat my salads with lettuce, shredded cheese, ham/turkey [sometimes warmed], and ranch dressing.

Went to Ruby Tuesdays the other day, and fixed myself one from the salad bar, and it was amazing. :yah

I love salad, when ever me and my friends go out we wind up going to a salad bar of some kind the make your own salad kinda thing. I put chicken in mine along with olives, eggs, cheddar cheese, crutons, and what ever I'm in the mood for. I like any type of vinigarette dressing.

What I can't stand is when people put apples in salad. I mean, wtf? Apples = sweet; salad = savoury! I also hate fish and carrot in salads, but fish is probably because I hate fish full stop.

Ohmygosh. I wasn't thinking potato SALAD. Don't know why, but I only had salad, like lettuce salads, in mind. I love potato salad. Like, . It's amazing. And everytime we have gumbo or stew, we have to have potato salad, too. It goes very well with Barbeque, too. Mmm.

I don't like any onions or bellpeppers or anything like that in my potato salad. I like it to only consist of: potatoes, eggs, mayonaise, and mustard. Besides pepper and salt, of course.

Salad = love.

My best friend's mum makes this super good chicken noodle salad.
