    President Taft.
He wasn't that amazing of a president but his life made me cry.
He gained 100 pounds during his presidency because he dealt with stress by eating. And during elections, Roosevelt (his supposed BFF) insulted his intelligence and whatnot.

Queen Elizabeth I - she is the best monarch England has ever had. :D

I'm also inspired by Anne Frank - her story is so sad

At the moment it's Elizabeth Woodville. Sister in law of Richard III.
I'm still convinced that she murdered the two princes which were in fact her sons. :shifty

    - John F. Kennedy. I'm completely and utterly obsessed with his entire presidency, his family, and his death.

    - Timothy Leary. The man who single handedly helped the hippie revolution flourish.

    - All serial killers.

After creating this thread last year, I've realized that I don't have a favorite historical person. If my teacher gives me an assignment to study a person (like right now in language arts, we're reading Animal Farm and I have to do a comparison between Snowball and Leon Trotsky) I become fascinated which seems as favoritism but it's not. (Paul Revere was honestly a strange choice)

But possibly, never will I have an actual favorite; I will just continue to be fascinated with whoever may come across my path.

    Anne Boleyn
    She was strong and fierce.
She basically started the reformation, and she did not put up with they way that Henry treated her in her remaining years.
She enjoyed life even through the hardships.
Plus she was also the mother of Elizabeth 1 whom I also admire.
She ruled without a King, and she was an individual and unique.

Stalin was a fascinating person - he isn't my favourite but I like studying him.

Why is it we always find more fascination with the mad evil men/women who committed some of the worst crimes? :XD

Serial killers. I often freak my mum out by just sitting and reading or watching documentaries about them.
She told my Dad once and he just laughed and told me some good serial killers to look up.

Haha ^ My parents understand my history obsession as they like it too! My mum got a book from her mum which basically tells the story of all of England's history. I still need to steal that and read it! :XD

Jeffrey Dahmer- His history may not be too far back, not too far back at all, but I still find him a fascinating character. I've always wanted to know what demons drove him to rape and then ingest his victims. His idea of "Finding the perfect lover to be his, and his only," is also a very fascinating concept. I remember seeing a recorded interview on the ID channel, where he said that he ate his victims in order to feel like he was more at one with them. He also injected certain kinds of chemicals into their brains, hoping they would turn into "mindless zombies", and that they would stay his forever. The parts of the bodies he didn't eat were put into barrels of acid, then flushed down the toilet when they were pretty much just sludge.

    Morbid, huh?

Sun Ce- Now, I discovered this man while playing Dynasty Warriors. He was my favorite playable Wu character, and when I looked into it, he was based upon a real Chinese General in 195 A.D. named Sun Ce. He was documented in the book "Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms," and then in the opera "Romance of the Three Kingoms," he was known as Bofu. I've studied his genius military tactics, and I admire him for ruling a province at the young age of 24. It was sad to read that he died after being ambushed at the age of 25 :/

Julius Caesar, I've always like learning about old civilizations like Rome and Greece. Also, his story just intrigues me.
