I agree. Although i do not like labeling people as "scene" or "prep" it's still not right to tell people what they can and cannot wear.

I love drawing little cartoons on mine =D

Converse shoes are amazing! XD

They're casual-going, simple, match a lot of things and are awesome props for photography. I prefer the solid colours, with no design, but hey, every pair of Converse is a work of art. *_*

Although, Converse do symbolize teenagers and the young adolescent years. I suppose Converse symbolizes youth, freedom, style and laughter? =D?

Used to seriously live in my converse, but it doesn't really suit my style anymore - I still think they look great though.

Only their worn out now & the colours all gone pretty much.
But I finally wore my new black ones out today.

I love looking at them, not wearing them because it makes me look like I have stupid clown feet.

Ahh, I know!
I have to scuff 'em up a bit for it to feel really like Converse. Wearing clean shoes just makes you feel like everyone is staring at you!

I HATE converse. Ha it sounds kind of harsh. But I don't know. I think they're uncomfortable and not very practical. Especially when it rains ha. I'd rather wear Supras or Adidas. I think they make my feet look weird too. I'd have to agree with Slaughter Me Happy. I always hear kids hating on "preppy kids" for wearing them I'm just like -_____-

I think you need to have the right feet for Converse.
I have little to no arch on my foot so flat shoes are always more comfortable. I try wearing normal tennis shoes and they just hurt. =/
So I stick to my Converse, Creepers, Draven's and Lucky 13's.

same here, with the flat feet part. It just sucks when my feet pronate more than usual...then they start to hurt and roll even more inwards.

My feet are the complete opposite
I have a really high arch so flat shoes are so uncomfortable for me.
Heels are lovely on my feet, just not for too long.
I used to live in converse but they used to hurt like a bitch when they got wet - and I lived in Wales
So I stick to heels now

I love converses, but whenever I walk home from school, they mess up my feet badly. Two miles in those shoes every Monday-Friday sucks. And they are getting too small now, but I have no money to buy more shoes for school.
