Oh man, the list goes on and on.

    Most memorable ones, though:

The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray When Kostos died, I bawled. It took me forever to stop ctying and i couldn't even explain to my friend why, cuz she hadn't read it yet.

Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts Two scenes in this one. The first is when Lexie is describing what happened when her and Praline and Brownie were attacked and the second is when Novalee tells Forny she doesn't love him cuz she thinks he deserves better

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen OMG, I had to cry through this one, because I relate to Annabelle in many ways, and I'm jelous of her, really, cause she found the courage to tell what happened to her and I'm still searching for mine five years later

A couple scenes in the different Harry Potters, when Edward left Bella in New Moon (seriously PMSing there) a couple scenes in The Host, quite a bit of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, ect.

I'm really emotional with books, cuz i let the characters get inside my head. Not so much with movies, exept Hope Floats that alwayz makes me cry.

Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer. :shifty
To be honest I'm not really an emotional person (actually the black hole that is my soul ate my emotions years ago :file: ) but reading about Chris McCandless' last days made me feel like crying. I could feel the tears...they just decided not to leave my eyes.

But I did cry during New Moon. I was going through a similar situation at the time...it was still horribly sad though.

The Half Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows made me cry like a silly bitch. I'll never forgive Rowling for what she did in book 6.

I cry so much in books. And when watching films, and TV programmes ( just rewatched Doomsday (Doctor Who) and am drying my tears). Anyway, books that made me cry include:

Before I Die - Jenny Downham
Ways to Live Forever - Sally Gardner (very similar to the above)
Chinese Cinderella - Adeline Yen Mah
Tully - Paulina Simmons (An exceptional read, for anyone looking for some new material)
The Island - Victoria Hislop (one of the best books of all time)
Lord of the Flies - William Golding (I absolutely HATED that book, but Simon's death admittely made me shed a few tears)
    Breaking Dawn - Stephenie Meyer
A Swift Pure Cry - Siobhan Dowd
The Memory Keeper's Daughter - Kim Edwards
Out of the Ashes - Michael Morpurgo

I really am too sensitive, *sigh*

I'm not a huge cryer in books, but for some reason I was in full frontal floods of tears whilst reading most of the last 10 chapters or so of The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
I also cried while reading Abhorsen by Garth Nix; but that's probably it. Films make me cry more often than books to be honest.

Oh my goodness, there are so many that make me cry. :(
    Hmm, let me see...
A lot of the Harry Potter's, Narnia. I'm not sure why, but I just find Narnia so sad. Oh and there is a book called 'Life On The Refridgerator Door.' It is just so sad. I cried so much at the end, and then when you re-read it you know what's gonna happen and you see all the signs and oh my goodness, I cried the whole way through the second time. :(

    Evernight by Claudia Gray.
    Such a bittersweet ending.

Also the second book in the House of Night series. I forget the name. But Stevie Rae died and it made me cry as well.

And Frostbite and Shadowkiss, part of the Vampire Academy series.
In both books some of my favorite characters die. So sad.

It's not a book, but a story, and I read it when I was a kid, and I still hate it for how it makes me feel. I don't even want to type it into google to make sure of the name... but I'm going to.

It's called Bedd Gellert, it seems. It's an old myth.

From what I remember, a man lives alone with his only child (a young boy), and his beloved dog, Bedd Gellert. You know, like a really beloved dog - been with you through all life's battles, is your best and only friend etc.

Anyway, one day this man is out, gathering firewood or something, and leaves his dog to protect his son, as always.

While he's away, a couple of wolves come along, and Bedd Gellert fights them, but he loses. To son is killed and eaten.

Our main human character comes home to find this. Of course, you can picture what it looks like - bloody pawprints everywhere, toddler savaged, dog with blood around it's mouth. He goes over the edge, as you would - he runs his blade through his dog, killing it, under the impassioned impression in his rage and grief that it has killed his only son.

And then it dawns on him.

    Fucking hate that story.

Oh, my gosh. This has got to be one of the greatest books that I have ever read.
I rarely cry due to books, but this one seriously moved me to tears. I mean--I can't even explain.
Sometimes, it was because I was so utterly happy. In Love
    (Jodi Picoult never fails, dudes).

But, for real, the most I ever cried for a book was when I was reading Rilla of Ingleside, by L.M. Montgomery. For fifteen minutes I cried my little heart out. I can't remember being so sad in my entire life. My gosh, that was so intense for me.

The ending of Sarra Mannings Guitar Girl had me welling up. It isn't the most original of books, and I think it was a little rushed - saying that, it did make somewhat of an impact on me. It was when Molly receives a letter from her idol, 'Ruby X', shortly after finding out about her death. It's seriously touching.

Also, the deaths in Harry Potter: Dobby, Dumbledore, Snape, Fred, Cedric and Hedwig. Other than Dumbledore I actually cried the most when Hedwig died, haha.

I finished reading Frostbite this weekend and I just started crying towards the end.
I couldn't stop myself I just didn't want to believe what had happened and the funny part was that I was in the car with my mom and sister and I was just crying and I couldn't stop.

Titanic, the Long Night. Considering the movie and the book are based very closely on the same event, they're very different. I'd explain why, but I don't want to give anything away. I suggest you guys read it! Very worth while.

I just reread Wuthering Heights for the first time in ages.

God, I forgot how much that book makes me cry. Especially the beginning of the second volume and when Heathcliff is mourning and hitting his head into that tree Cry
