I'm gunna have to go with pop/punk and pop/rock and some indie in there too. I listen to anything that sounds good to me. Marianas Trench, All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Cute Is What We Aim For = pop/punk; Secondhand Serenade, The Fray, One Republic = pop/rock; and Meg and Dia, Death Cab For Cutie, The Cab = indie

Rock, Metal and Classical (i.e. baroque through to romantic and beyond).

And a bit of D&B and Dubstep on the side.

I think punk has more meaning than most genres.

- Hardcore
- Good rap, mostly old-school or gangsta
- Classical
- Punk rock
- Girlie music like Katy Perry and Leona Lewis
- Death metal
- Old music (70s and older) in general, especially Bobby Vinton. <3
- Folk rock

Oh, and old real emo, like Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, Dag Nasty, etc. I don't mean to sound pretentious, but... it's difficult when talking about music. :/

Rock, some of which most people would probably generalise as emo, so bands like My Chem, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, The Used, The Academy Is..., Cobra Starship, Green Day, Muse etc.

Britpop (and post-Britpop) so bands like Oasis, Blur, Travis, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Coldplay, Razorlight, Stereophonics, The Verve, Radiohead, etc.

Female alternative artists, for example Lily Allen, and Charlotte Sometimes.

^The Arctic Monkeys fall into a rare category called Stoner Rock. That has been proven without a doubt with their latest album. xD

Post-Rock still, although I am really starting to get into Neofolk (Current 93, Death In June).

Also singer-songwriters like Jenn Ghetto, Eddie Vedder, Entertainment For The Braindead, and Bob Dylan

My favorites are post hardcore, indie rock, and symphonic rock. But really, most anything that had lyrics about REAL life (not sex, pretty girls/hot guys, cars, being rich, ect.) is good with me(:

Classic rock, hair metal, some 60s stuff, some 70s stuff, mainly 80s music.

I mostly listen to nineties alternative rock, but I also like hip hop and country.

Jrock, Country, and Rock. I'm starting to get into Metal.

In my current state I'm torn between Post Rock and Sadcore as my favorite.

I love a lot of metal, mostly black, extreme and industrial. Stuff like Cradle of Filth, Swordmaster, Deathstars. But I also love a lot of modern sleaze and glam, mostly from Sweden and Finland [Crashdiet, Negative, Reckless Love], and a lot of the old 80s glam [Motley Crue, Poison, et cetera]. And at the same time, I'm known to indulge in a bit of mainstream pop, and a little mainstream rock, but I'm far more picky about them.

I'm kinda varied.
