I actually don't have much of a problem with periods. I don't like it, but I'm able to deal with it for a week out of the month. But then, I don't get bad cramps.

The fact that the basic message I'm given is that I'm nothing if I don't have a boyfriend. Apparently you're not allowed to be happy if you're single.

And how hard it is to be taken seriously. In all areas. As an LGBT member, I gotta say it kills me when people make a huge deal about homosexual/bisexual men and never mention women. When a woman says she's bisexual or homosexual, she's not usually taken very seriously. I wanna be taken seriously, goddamnit!

Oh, and the fact that we're expected to be hairless. Especially shaving down there. No. Unless all the men of the world start shaving there, I will not. Underarms and legs I can compromise for, but just. No. And I have thick, dark hair, so I can't show my arms without being ridiculed. People need to stop with their stereotypes and grow up.

^I think the popular belief is that lesbians just can't get a man/haven't met the right man. Which is stupid.
I also agree with the hair. If my brother can look like sasquatch and get away with it, then dammit so can I. Hair is there for a reason.

It sucks having to feel inferior because I'm not the tallest or strongest guy around.
Just because I can't lift 100lbs over my head or am not great at sports doesn't make me less of a man. ):

^I agree with that. Not all guys have to be macho to be 'real men'.

The one thing I hate the most are period cramps. Mine get so bad, it radiates from my abdomen to my lower back, and sometimes they hurt so bad they make me nauseous.

    Camping.

Like seriously, guys are designed for camping with their standing-up-to-pee convenience. They are pretty much portable and can pee anywhere. Lack of toilet facilities doesn't work so well for a female. Maybe I'm just a pee freak and can't go in the wildnerness.

^I've had to use the bathroom in the woods by my grandparent's cabin before 'cause we were about 1-2 miles away and I would't have made it walking back there and it ended really badly XD

I hate using the bathroom in the woods. It's just not fun XD

Being the first of my friends to develop breasts then have all the guys saying degrading things to me. My friends all said they were envious, I told them to wait until they had to deal with it.

Totally agree with this. Shaving pubic hair is annoying and can be rather painful too. All to look 'good'...

    gender roles.

As a girl you're supposed to be shy, quiet, highly feminine and basically just do what you're told.
I used to get so much trouble in school when I was a kid 'cause I could never sit still, I talked too much, questioned everything and resembled more of a 'masculine' behavior than most guys in my class.

And then one day you decide to wax it. You're like: It's easier, it stays hairless longer, I don't have to shave every third day, I can go for weeks! And then you pull that first strip and you're like: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAm never doing this again!
Who am I kidding, I love being a girl! Clap

    Cramps. Definitely.

There's also the fact that women make up 52% of the population now (I'm not sure if that's the world population or just America) yet we are still a minority. In fact, they call us women the "Majority minority." You tell me: what the hell is a major minor?!
