Mibbian of the Week: Dance.Dance.Dance

Only having been a member of Mibba since April 2012, Dance.Dance.Dance has made great use of the site. She has posted quite a few stories, both fanfiction and original fiction alike. Most of her fanfiction is based on hockey or the band One Direction. Her friends call her Bex. She has been dancing since the age of three and said she wanted to convey that in her username. Bex is fourteen years old and lives in the United States. Her various interests include, but are not limited to hockey, One Direction, and dance. How did you come up with your Mibba username? What were your inspirations for it?
I came up with my username pretty quickly. Dancing is pretty much my life, has been since I was 3. I don't know where I would be without it. I like things to be to the point, although I can talk forever. So having my username be 3 short words with 2 periods seemed pretty straight forward.

What types of stories/poems do you write on Mibba?
I write mostly fan-fictions... (I'm a die-hard Pittsburgh Penguins fan and my friends have gotten me into One Direction.) However, I do have a few original fictions.

What types of stories/poems do you read on Mibba?
Again, I read mostly fan-fictions and original fictions. I haven't read very many poems, I'm ashamed to say.

If you had to name your favorite story/poem on Mibba, what would it be?
God, that's a tough one. Um.... I'd have to say I'm in love with Who Wouldn't Want To Be Me? by Penguins11 and Something Like Fate by onlythegooddieyoung. I also love pretty much anything by dudeandduchess.

What draws you to the above named story/poem? Why is it your favorite?
I love how those authors can take real people and write a story around them that is still realistic and yet their own at the same time.

What is your all-time favorite story/piece of literature?
I love Animal Farm...I'm a history buff. I also love the Heist Society Series by Ally Carter. And of course, Harry Potter!

Do you have a favorite obsession? If so, what is it?
Um... dancing, hockey, writing, swim team, and music. All to an extreme.

If you could meet any one person (or any small group of people), who would it be and why?
I'd love to meet Amelia Earhart, but sadly that's not possible. She was such a pioneer and it would be great to know just what was going through her head on that first flight.

What are your favorite things to do when you’re not on Mibba?
You could usually find me dancing, writing while listening to my iPod, or at swim team practice. Of course, you could also find me at my desk after school with a bag full of homework.

What are some of your favorite musicians/bands?
I love Christina Perri, OneRepublic, One Direction, Hunter Hayes, Colbie Caillat, and the Beatles.

What is your favorite literary genre?
I like realistic fiction and romance. I'm not into fantasy or sci-fi.

If money and skill were no objects, what would you like to do with your life?
I'd like to become a journalist (one of my dreams!) and a forensic investigator (another dream!). But I would also take care of my loved ones and try to make a difference in the world around me.
