Mibbian of the Week: hurricano.

hurricano. is an awesome Mibbian who is active in all areas of Mibba. In this edition of Mibbian of the Week, we take a closer look at Velvet.

When did you join Mibba and how did you find the site?

I think I first joined really early 2010, but I set up an account and forgot about it until a little while later, several months afterwards. I didn't start posting and get really active until late 2010 and I've been on fairly regularly since. I found it while just searching the net for writing sites I could post my own works on, after having found a couple others that I enjoyed and spent a lot of time on. Google brought up the link and that's pretty much how I found it!

What is your favorite thing about Mibba?

I think probably the community. I like the forums and I like everyone on there, they are all usually very nice and interesting people. I found my closest friend and future band mate on here as well, so that's really cool. I've met a lot of people through here, some of which I'm still in contact with today.

What does being a Mibbian mean to you?

I think it falls back to the community again. I think I really like being a part of it, even if I'm kind of on the outskirts of it most of the time.

If you could change one thing about Mibba, what would it be and why?

I'm not entirely sure. I couldn't give a very accurate answer off the top of my head. I'd say I wish that subscribers/readers would be more outspoken on stories, because everyone can agree that feedback of any kind is always so valued by authors.

What hobbies do you have outside of Mibba and writing?

My hobbies are probably very uninteresting and unsafe to most people, if being at all honest. I am really passionate about music and I'd say that takes up the majority of my hobby time. I play guitar, sing, and write lyrics and I'm almost always working on new material. Then I'm always finding new music and listening to obscure artists and collecting vinyl.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans for the future are pretty simple. I just want to surround myself with art and music and make my own records and travel around touring in some rundown car with only enough money to buy cigarettes and bread. I don't need nor want much else than that.

Is there anything you'd like to say to all the Mibbians out there?

Stay weird.
