Introducing Mibba Staff: RoCk_PrInCeSs_PR

Mibba's blog section can be a difficult area to keep up with. Each and every day, Mibbians can expect to see a good few blogs being posted, all with their own views and amusing anecdotes. For the Blog Moderators, this means checking every single blog to ensure that all of the guidelines are being followed. RoCk_PrInCeSs_PR is one of these moderators, and she works hard to ensure that the blog section is kept spic and span! I managed to take some time out of Christie's schedule to ask her a few questions.

1. When did you join Mibba and why?

I joined Mibba around four years ago. I was on another site and I liked stories from a person who moved to Mibba. I came to follow her stories and when I joined I felt in love with this site immediately.

2. When did you become a member of Mibba's staff/magazine?

I joined the Mibba’s staff three months ago on the 13th of June, 2014.

3. What made you apply for the position you have?

Not only do I love to read and write stories, but I also enjoy reading blogs and get to know people on a more personal matter. It gives me insight as a reader of how my favorite writers on Mibba are. I knew that with my profession I was going to be able to accomplish the task with enjoyment and diligence.

4. If you could have any other position of staff, what would it be and why?

Even though I am not ready for it, I will love to be a writer for the Mibba Magazine someday. With time and effort, I know I can accomplish it.

5. What is your favourite part about Mibba?

I love that Mibba seems to be the only site that writers can express their talent and at the same time present their stories, poems, novels and different work, using the form of creating their own layout. In my opinion, it makes them so much more alive.

6. What is your least favourite part about Mibba?

The least thing I like about Mibba is that it doesn’t have a chat form that we can communicate with other members in a more direct way instead of posting comments in a thread.

7. What section of the site are you most active in?

I am most active in the stories, blogs and writing contest sections.

8. Biggest inspiration?

My biggest inspiration is music. Whenever I hear a song, it immediately gives me the opportunity to imagine a story in my head and that’s how I can easily come up with ideas and motivation to write.

9. Tell us one thing you don't normally talk about.

I am a mother of two wonderful kids. I have a four year old son and a 3 year old daughter. I don’t speak about it much because I hardly express my personal life with others. The only people that know I am a mother are my two closest friends on here, and now everyone who is reading this.

10. Favourite novel?

I have many favorites but I have to say that the one I love most is The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice

11. If you could choose any piece of writing of yours - be it onsite or not - which are you most proud of?

I would have to say Size Doesn’t Matter because I held so a personal feeling for it that it’s unbearable. Even though the main character isn’t me, I managed to at least express a few things that happened to me that wasn’t so great growing up through the eyes of Izzy. It’s a story that has inspired a lot of people that told me about it and I am proud of that.

12. And finally, World War Mibba breaks out and pits all of the staff sections against each other. Which set of moderators do you think would win and why?

Well this is a tough one. I believe all the staff members are great people even though I haven’t been able to know each and every one of them. From what I’ve seen, I know they are all tough, but I have to stick with my fellow blog moderators and believe that we will win the war with the amazing guidance of our leader, Katie Mosing.
