    It's all a case of personal opinion, I guess. I quite like it as a book, even though I agree that it isn't the best book on the planet in terms of writing. I like the idea behind it, but I know people who, like yourself, can't understand why it's so famous (or infamous, I guess). I think it does, in the end, roll down to someone's taste in literature.

    Interesting, not my cup of tea in terms of literature, but still a very good read on ideas to get. I do hope such an article will include non-fiction books to span the intellect and bookshelf such as this. Good post, thank you for making it.

    I can never understand how To Kill A Mockingbird is a classic. It royally sucked, and it was horribly confusing. The plot, if it exists, is all over the place. The one main character had too many names as well.
