Watch Over Me is a One Direction slash fan-fiction, featuring the ever popular and controversial pairing known as 'Larry Stylinson' to fans of the lads, i.e. Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles. The name is also often used to describe their real-life bromance.

When Louis Tomlinson experiences a terrible car accident, his last thoughts are of his friend Harry. After waking up, Louis is horrified to discover that he is now a spirit and his physical body is lying in a hospital bed. To make matters worse, his spirit can’t leave the room and all of his friends can’t see him.

With the exception of Harry.

At first, Harry can't believe that he can see and talk to the comatose boy. He passes out when he first witnesses an almost translucent Louis standing in front of him. It takes a while, but he eventually learns to come to terms with the fact that he is the only one who can make contact with his best friend. Both of them found some comfort in each other within that short period of time.

maxx danziger has done a breathtaking job of writing this beautifully heartbreaking piece. Her portrayal of the characters’ emotions are extremely realistic and while reading it, I found myself hoping that Louis would find a way to come together with his body and live once again.

While this is a relatively lengthy one-shot at 9207 words, this is a story that leaves you with a sense of satisfaction after finishing it (although you might not be too content with the ending). Watch Over Me is the first story on Mibba which made me weep so hard from the beginning until the end, so I'd recommend this to anyone who is up for a good sob story. Remember to have your tissues handy!
