She was a difficult person, a thorn in his side since the day they met. She wanted to be free, without ties to anything or anyone. She wanted to be able to live the way she wanted to for the rest of her life without any hindrances.

What is love? The word means different things to different people. Some would define it as a feeling of affection one person feels toward another. Some would say it is a mutual attraction between two people. Rose defines love as nothing more than a series of chemical interactions in the brain and no one has been able to prove otherwise.

Rose is the story of a stubborn girl, who is too smart for her own good. She is a university student, with a passion for learning and a large interest in the human mind. Her fascination with psychology goes far beyond the classroom, to an ideology she uses in her everyday life. She believes in things that can be proven – in the things that she knows to be true – while Oliver believes the exact opposite.

From the moment the two meet, in their Psych 101 class, it is obvious that Rose and Oliver are like oil and water. They are exact opposites. They are two things that could never mix together. Different in every aspect of their lives, Rose and Oliver clash like Poseidon and Hades. One is as gentle as the water, while the other is as tough as war. Rose and Oliver are opposites, but people always say that opposites attract.

Rose is a story full of great promise. It has extremely well-developed characters that wrap themselves around every word of the story. These characters weave themselves in and out of the plot so easily that it feels as though they take it over. Needless to say, the story comes off as being nothing short of remarkable. Even though the story has just begun, it is obvious that it is well on its way to becoming a masterpiece.

I highly recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a phenomenal original fiction to get wrapped up in.
