MM Reviews: Dream
"I'm J," he responded, shrugging, as if everyone called him that.
"I'm B," she retorted, and he looked at her, really looked at her. Like no one else did.
In the story Dream, the setting takes place in a field located in Spain. Here a mysterious girl is found brooding over her life of pain and misery. The field is the place she goes to be alone, to watch the sunset and calm herself, letting all of her worries slip away for even a moment.
However, her calm is disrupted one night when a boy her age from the next town over visits the field as well, not knowing that she was already there. After multiple encounters they become friends, referring to each other by their first initials as B and J. They let each other into their lives and get to know each other, escaping to the field to see one another and to get away from their beyond stressful lives.
Dream is written by heatherlight in a very unique writing style that brings the reader deep into the characters’ minds. The story is also full of great description, especially of the characters, their feelings and their surroundings. As the story develops, so do B and J and the connection that they share. Dream is overall a very well written story and I highly recommend it for anyone in the mood for a true love story.
Much thanks to takahe.angel and everybody dies; for editing!
