MM Reviews: The Last Wolf

Title: The Last Wolf
Author: Lulie Belle
Type: Original Fiction
Genre: Romance Drama Fantasy
Rating: R

Dahlia is the last. The very last of her kind.

Dahlia Raven Waters is a sixteen year old girl who grew up as a sickly child all her life and was constantly under the watchful eye of her parents. Until one night at a party, she is angered at a boy and hurts him, but then a wolf appears before her and—with these strange instincts she has never felt before—she kills it. Days later, after being severely sick, she is turned into a wolf. Dahlia is no longer who she thought she was, but something that her supposed parents had kept hidden from her all of her life.

Now being kept inside and away from the world more than ever, Dahlia is determined to find out her real heritage, and is no longer accepting of the people she used to call her mother and her father.

This amazing fantasy by Lulie Belle is perfect for those in the Halloween mood. It follows the classic “werewolf on the night of the full moon”, with the twist of the life of a teenage girl who thought she knew exactly who she was.

Lulie Belle is great at the description of the story and no detail is ever missed, making the reader feel like they were actually there in the woods or during the full moon transformation.

Much thanks to aubs and broken bells for editing!
