MM Reviews: Memories from a Dead Girl

Author: Odette
Type: Original fiction
Genre: Mystery | Thriller | Crime
Rating: R

Everyone wants to have a long, fulfilled life spent with loved ones. However, for Olivia, her dreams shattered when she was brutally murdered. Not being able to move on, her soul stayed in our world as a spirit as she was determined to find her true killer.

Memories from a Dead Girl is truly an intriguing fiction to read. The readers are drawn into the story straight from the short first chapter. Each chapter ends with cliff-hangers that just keep the readers on the edge of their seats. As the story unfolds, we learn, along with Olivia so many secrets and so many lies that had been kept from her both from her boyfriend and sister.

For a person that is not too fond of horror stories, I find myself - surprisingly - enjoying reading this original fiction. I think the author has done an immensely amazing job in portraying Olivia’s emotions throughout the story as she learns more about Austin, her boyfriend, and Chloe, her sister, and the secrets between them.

The chapters for this story are too pretty short for my liking, however, the frequent updates definitely make up for it. Therefore, do not be intimidated if you see the amount of chapters once you click on the story page. It will not take long for you to catch up and it is definitely worth it.

I definitely recommend Memories from a Dead Girl to anyone who is looking for a good story to read.

Special thanks to sheepcat; and Norman Reedus for editing.
