Same here, been working on college scholarships and what not; so far I've been accepted into 2 out of 3 of my schools, so I'm excited about that. I've also been trying to balance having frequent updates on my stories into that mix.
I was born in England, but moved to America around... eh, eight, nine-ish or so. But my aunt still lives in Chester (where I grew up), so I spend just about every summer vacation with her. I've missed home so, my parents seem to understand it that I don't like to spend more time than needed in this godforsaken city.
College, I tend to keep a bit secret. Sorry doll, but revealing actual locations has proven to be... troublesome in the past, so I try to avoid it. The general... New York state... I'm just going to say. That's a very wide area, now isn't it? Haha.
Loris... Honestly, I hadn't the foggiest of what that was until I read that... And looking at picture, I'm not really sure if I should be creeped out, or squeal because it's so adorable. Poisonous, really? Platypuses are poisonous as well, which I find rather unusual...
To be a cliche, I love pandas. They're adorable, and vicious, and lazy, and like to eat. They're just so cuuute.
Yeah, finals are... hell. Especially when I have more than one a day. Oh dear god I hate that. Rushing across campus, paranoid about the last questions, if I finished, went in depth enough on this or that, late for this, early for that, forgot that and remembered it half an hour later. It's rather stressful really. But having a wide variety of interests entail a bit of elbow grease, no?
Ironically, I currently reside in New York... And I live in England for about three months each year... Hm, that is an odd coincidence. I must say, Europe is a rather lovely place (if you look in the right places, that is). Definitely visit if you ever have the chance. Some of the best cooking in the world is found in the most obscure places. :]
Actually, I didn't really... switch... I got my degree in editing, that took hardly any time at all. I'm still technically getting a hospitality degree, meaning I'm going to be a chef, but I'm still studying psychology as well... No, I never sleep, in case you were wondering. :] My classes go around the clock, so I'm generally always doing something around the campus.
I actually have tried flying, in fact! A Douglas Adams inspiration, I jumped from the highest point on a swing and tried to lift off. I ended up on the pavement with a hairline fracture in my elbow, and my dreams crushed. Unfortunately, gravity works for nine year old's as much as it does for the rest of the world. Go figure.
You've never flown in an airplane before? That's a bit sad, I have to do that just about every summer. It's exhilarating, really. Is there any place you would like to go? Live perhaps?
Actually, yes! I'm working on Forensic Psychology at the moment, though that may change... It's posing to be a bit more than I can handle. My degrees are slightly chaotic, I moved from novel editor, to pastry chef, and now forensic psychologist. I have varied interests.
And can you now? That's rather good then! I haven't asked many that question with a positive answer! Unfortunately, not very many people seem to be that coordinated. Or at least the ones that I've found lingering on the internet.
Another unrelated question! Have you ever tried to fly? Not in a plane, no, that's much too simple.
I haven't got the slightest idea why I ended up on your page, perhaps a twist of fate - more likely a random series of clicks. But you seem rather intriguing as a person. And wo! I spot a similarity! Psych degrees, I'm working on mine as well.
haha idk
the host was pretty damn expensive
as were all of the harry potter hardcovers
xDD note to self:
don't be an annoying fan
