Jeez Louise!
You read the last chapter really quickly :)
The Jack/Zooey drama won't come about for a while, but i just wanted to give you all a heads up. And yes, Paul and Chloe's relationship brings Alex a step closer to winning his ex back.
If you're interested, I actually just posted an re-vamped version of the last chapter (I noticed that it was almost all dialogue, so I wrote in more thought on Jack's part). Whether or not you choose to read it, thanks again for all of the support!
Since the beginning, I've meant for Zooey to be a really perceptive character. It's actually once of the reasons that she gets along so well with everyone; she can pick up on emotions really easily, so she knows how to react.
You were spot on with your interpretation of Jack and Alex's conversation. Gaskarth wanted some sort of outside affirmation that there were still sparks between him and Chloe. He just needed to know that there was still a bit of hope that they could get back together.
Thank you again for your lovely feedback. I appreciate it a whole lot :)
By now, I know that this is really redundant, but thank you so much for sticking with my writing for so long. You have no idea how much it means to me knowing that you've been reading my stories since the good ol' days of ficwad.
After I started writing the skype call between Alex and Chloe, Mrs. Barakat seemed to write her way into it. Not quite sure how I came up with it, but I'm glad that you enjoyed their interaction.
On another note, I'm also sad/excited to end Decisions, Decisions.
I don't know... Would I break them up again?
The last chapter was sad, but as you pointed out, it was necessary. As for how Alex and Chloe will handle the distance, you'll have to stick around and read about it :)
Wasabi is a crazy thing, let me tell you. I love that stuff, but sometimes I've put too much on a piece of sushi and my eyes have watered like no other. At times like those, I play it cool, let my bangs fall into my eyes, and discreetly drink half a glass of water.
As for the tension between Alex and Paul, I'll be dealing with that in a few chapters. After all, you already know what happens in Decisions, Decisions.
Thank you very much for sticking around for so long.
I'm stoked that you're still reading my silly little stories.
:D
I figured that since there wasn't any drama when in Decisions, Decisions when Zooey went to California, if wouldn't make sense to create any drama in MFEO. Plus Once I came up with Zooey's character, I imagined that she had awesomely eccentric parents :)
Thank you for all of the lovely support.
For real :D
As usual, thank you so much for reading and commenting!
