hey! thanks for the comment! as soon as i saw your note about the whole jordan/jordyn thing, i went back to try and edit it, but i had a hard time finding any times where i used "jordan". could you highlight them to me so i can fix them? thank you!

I hear ya. I'm supposed to be looking for 2 sources to hand in tomorrow that i can use for my huge research paper due in May and I have totoally been distracted by facebook and youtube. And the Yankee game is coming on soon.

How's it going?

Yeah, I figured. It's easier for me to go to a Pitt/Washington game in DC seeing that I live closer to DC than Pitt but that's just the disadvantage of that. I'm hoping that I'm sitting near a whole bunch of Pens fans or I'm know I'm going to die, with my Crosby shirt...

I'm so glad they cancelled! Everything's still a mess outside. I went with my dad after work to pick up dinner since we didn't have anything at home and he made me drive... it's the scariest thing ever.

That's totally what I do as soon as I find out we have a snow day. The first thing I do is update my facebook :p

I am, more or less. I finally made my snowman today and I went sledding :)

That's lame. I'm glad you had today off because from what my dad told me the roads here are still really bad. He works at the National Grounds Intelligence Center and they apparently don't close work for anything... My county's like that too, last year they made us go to school when it was snowing so I took the bus and spent more time on the bus than I did at school. We literally got to school, spent 10 minutes there and got back on the bus.

That's lame, but you're lucky. Sometimes ACPS decides to call at 5 in the morning to cancel school. At least you start winter break early :) That's always fun! I'm getting through it, I had no power for 5 hours yesterday which was no fun and I just got my internet back, but other than that everything's good. Apparently this is more snow that we usually get in an entire year. We were lucky to have a neighbor plow our long driveway and after he did it he decided not to charge us... I think that now that the sun's out it'll be at least a little bit harder. You can't do much in powdery snow but I hear it's great for skiing. Now that the snows a little harder I might try making a snowman. :)

Two weeks of vacation is awesome! I go back on the 4th too...

And I see you're a Caps fan... lol I'm going to a Capitals Pens game in February and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get killed.

This snowstorm's crazy. I went outside today and it was about knee deep or so. My parents tried to shovel the driveway this afternoon but they kind of failed. There's just too much snow that eventually they gave up. My dad knows this guy who plows driveways so he's coming to do ours tomorrow. You had to walk home in the snow? That sucks, hopefully not too far. I really wish I could have at least made a snowman with all this snow but it was too powdery to do anything.

Aww, I'm pretty sure school's going to be called off for at least monday since the snow doesn't look like it's all going to melt and it's not supposed to be warm tomorrow. My county's lame and gets paranoid about the chance of snow. Last year we had a couple days off where they thought it was going to snow then it didn't. Friday was my last day of school but I had exams all week :(

When do you have to go back to school after break?

I'm pretty good, I'm actually really excited about the snow that's falling and I'm finally done with school for at least 2009. We've already got like 3 inches on the drive way alone.

Do we really!? That's so cool. I live in Charlottesville. Small world, huh? It's crazy how excited the people here are about the snow, apparently it's supposed to be the biggest snow storm of the decade. 16 inches is crazy! I was supposed to be finishing my holiday shopping tomorrow but I think I'll end up going sledding or making a snowman.

Nahh, it's not weird at all. I love getting comments, and it's pretty cool that we're from about the same place.
