too true, focusing on love really would make it far too one-dimensional and, frankly, rather boring and unoriginal (so thank god you didn't do that, but i don't think anything you write could ever be boring or unoriginal, much less both). Aw, that's a downer. I understand how you feel, it was actually better that I didn't participate too much in NaNo last year since my school work would've drastically failed had I actually tried.

Oi, I'm sorry to hear that! That's a real bummer. I'm lucky that I don't have to deal with school until next year; it'll be my first year of college. I'm taking time off to figure out what exactly I want to do.

I'm doing okay as well. I've been feeling very emotional lately over some family things that happened last year around this time, but it's nothing too serious. And I'm working on my NaNoWriMo as well to help take my mind off of it. :)
