I actually got that complaint on another story of mine. I think it could be one of two things: 1) A lot of people (including myself) have been having trouble with email updates for subscriptions. I know that my readers numbers are a little jumpy, as well, so I know that it's possibly happening to some of this story's readers, too. 2) Maybe it doesn't help that I let about a decade pass before updating again? (I know other authors that I read, who do the same thing, and I have to go reread the last chapter to just remember what happened).
With each chapter, I try to follow each episode. Sometimes, what happens on the show isn't shown in the chapter, though, because Jennifer isn't always with the guys. But, just like it would happen in real life, it occurs without her there. So, I guess that's another reason that the story could appear jumpy.
Or, if this has been happening since Jennifer was hospitalized (which her accident seemed to have happened very suddenly)... well, that was done on purpose. She has no memory of the accident. (Although that doesn't mean that it won't come up again later, lol).
I really hope this helps! Thank you so much for commenting, by the way. I really appreciate it.
