I felt like shit a lot of today because I was reminded that the guy I like is eighteen and I'm a minor and that it probably can't work and won't.

But my friend made me feel better. Not only because I wanna believe what she says, but what she says DOES make sense.

In her eyes, in a relationship such as thirteen year old plus an eighteen year old, it either means, a] the guy is immature. Or, b] the girl is mature. I don't mean to toot my own horn but I am quite mature. And, my other friend knows a fourteen year old girl who's dating a twenty year old guy and both of those people are apparently very mature.

So, who knows . . . I guess I haven't lost all hope, right?

I'd just have to keep it a semi-big secret. Don't want any school counselors calling me at the beginning of the school year like they did when everyone thought I was pregnant . . . [Don't ask, lmao!]

And no I don't mind you asking; the reason is, I know him because he works at my favorite store (Hot Topic.) They fire a LOT of people there, all the time. There's new workers like every two months.

So, if I don't do it quick, and he gets fired, well. I lose all contact that I previously had with him.
