I also want to dabble in psychology and philosophy, not because I want to be a psychologist or a philosopher, I just find those subjects interesting enough to want to know more about them.

Oh wow that sounds really creepy! It does sound like the hide and seek game, except what I read never really said if it was a ghost or demon, but I had an idea of how I wanted it to be. That also kind of reminds me of slenderman in the sense you have to constantly avoid it.

Apparently my father has this whole collection of astrology books. Not quite the same, but I have flicked through some pages and it seems interesting enough.

I get frustrated trying to achieve things on my own, because I inevitably always do things wrong.
Not that I believe it will work, but if it does, all the better.
