Owen's life is the big secret of the story. Kate is the mystery, like the goal, but Owen is the secret. I won't be revealing any of that for a while haha, sorry. I hope the curiosity doesn't kill you. But don't worry, I've already dropped hints. :)
There is a lot behind Garrett too. And a lot coming. Again, I'm giving anything away, haha.

And yes, I know you don't have to be an Amazon woman to play volleyball, lol. It's just how Owen is, she's very into stereotyping/being bitter/making fun of other people.

Thank you for your comment. I really don't mind the coma suggestion. I will definitely work harder to make sure my point doesn't get lost or confused through the paragraphs. I'm guilty of forgetting, or neglecting, to edit before I put it up and for that I'm sorry. I shall do my best to edit better in the coming chapters. I wasn't planning on writing another Garrett story, but I got the idea and he just fit.
I also wasn't planning on dropping the Caleb story, but it was just a one-shot and it wasn't working, I think I overplanned or something. :/ Maybe another time.

Haha well thanks for not hating him! Everyone is mad at him, but he did redeem himself a lot at the end when he stood up to her dad. :)
And I'm glad you don't hate her dad either! Haha wow, I think you might be the only one who understands what's going on, like I like making it that everyone hates him, but I love when someone understands that he just cares about her too much. And if he wasn't there when she was born, don't you think he might feel a little guilty about that and maybe that's why he cares about her so much now? Hmmmm... ;)

Grayson is my second favorite, actually. I just love writing Schuyler, haha she's so much fun.

Aww, I'm sorry. :( I wasn't a big Avenged Sevenfold fan, but I know it's gotta be tough, I'd be just as upset if I were you. Are you feeling any better?

Schuyler is my favorite, I will tell you that for free haha. She's honestly the most sincere character I have, I think, because while she does the whole acting thing, she's really not afraid to be herself, and that's my favorite thing about her.
I've got chapter 28 ready to post, but my laptop isn't on the interwebz right now, so as soon as it is, I'll have it up. :)
