Well, some people think so. It's just that I've seen a bunch of other vampire stories written by proffesionals and amateur writers, and most of them can;t balance the lust and mystery that vampire stories have. It's either weighing too deep on one side and then it just sounds bad. So I like how Stephenie portrayed it. I dunno. It's just my opinion.
But she copied a bunch of parts from Wuthering Heights. I'm reading it right now. :)

I liked it. Their emotions make sense. Even though I don't like the end very much when she magically end up with that other guy and all was well. Give it a try though. It's unique.

I read a mishmash of stuff because I don't like seeing the same kinds of writing over and over again. I read Harry Potter, some classics, stories in poetry (like Impulse. Have you read that?), Confessions of A shopaholic, and books by Dean Koontz, Stephen King ans Cecily von Ziegesar.
My taste is random, I guess.

Oh, well I guess I didn't like it because it started out as a kind of teen drama and then ended abruptly with them having a kid and all. It just didn't fit the theme I guess. It would've been better if Twilight was mature to begin with, so everything would fit together better.
But I love Stephenie Meyer's writing. Have you read the Host?
And what other stuff do you like to read?

I didn't really like breaking dawn very much tho (please don't kill me!!!!) it was just too adult to fit the twilight theme :(
