Oh my goodness, exactly. Like with the audience I just kind of stand there like :D and hear it as almost static instead of clapping. My ears are always kind of messed up for a few seconds after I'm done because I get that lightheaded feeling, kind of like relief but not because the song's done, more because I did it.

Exactly. It might be because I've been onstage since I was 2 but I'm nervous right up until I actually get onstage. When I'm up there, everything else washes away and it's just me and whatever I'm performing. Even at Karaoke Night, I was nervous as fuck and then when it came my turn to sing, I was on autopilot. I bounded up and took the mic and sang and when I was done, it seemed like the real world had stopped existing and had just come back when I was finished.

Does that sound like something a musician would experience? :o Because I'm just describing what happens and hopefully that's how other musicians feel too, because that would mean I'm hopefully on the track to getting a musician mindset. xD

Ugh, me too. D: I want to sing so badly. I don't know what else I would do with my life. :/

Yeah, that's what I'm planning on doing, actually. xD

Not so accurate, I mean. xD Like Ive heard some covers, and done a few myself, that are purposely sang or played slightly differently to make it easier and better sounding. Because obviously not everyone has the same vocal abilities as who theyre covering, so sometimes itll be changed slightly, or completely.
That was honestly really amazing, though.

Thats honestly so much better than I ever imagined it being. I havent heard the original song in so long, but its SO close to how I remember Hayley Williams singing it. Youre extremely talented!

I actually have my voice lessons at 4pm today. :D
But my voice teacher sucks and we're just going over songs.
Which is all good and fine but I don't *want* to learn songs,
I want to improve my voice,
and besides the occasional "this is how you do this"
he's not helping. :/

You shouldn't be bummed that you don't sound like her. And you do, kind of. You should be way proud of your voice and not compare it to anyone else's. :)

I just do because I'm a loser who has no self-confidence. xD

I'm like seriously so happy that you think I'm like a female version of him. <3 Like four people I think that don't know each other have said the same thing and he's one of my majorly big music idols, so...yeah. :3 I'm also probably starting out like him because I'm going to buy a Mac with GarageBand on it (which is what he did) and sell my stuff on iTunes first, and then do some small gigs and then hopefully festivals and stuff. I've even sat outside and played guitar for random strangers like he used to do. xD
