i took geography in school last year, and i got a D... the only thing i did well was socializing with the class. =/ yea, and i don't travel much.

And theres a website called fallingwhistles.com and its one of the most tragic stories I've heard....especially since I have young cousins and my friend just had a baby. I donate to different causes and help out where I can, but I have met many people who blow me off because of my age...and it bugs me.

good point....I know, my generation wasn't brainwashed into the whole "America is the greatest country ever. " motto. But my 8yr old cousin's generation was....it's hard to explain to an 8 yr old why daddy is yelling about the presidency and what the war in Iraq is about. its even harder to explain to a 3 yr old why there's little kids like him on tv bleeding or wandering alone, crying, or being abused by Americans. The U.S has serious issues. They're power hungry, but being as young as I am, i get the whole "You're too young and just a teenager to understand olitics and whats going on in the world" speech.Trying to change the government at my age is a little tough....but making small changes is good enough.
