Thank you very much for the comment on my journal. I am thinking of starting the vampire first so I will make sure to give you a heads up on when I post it :)
Also, I didn't really mean to come off as that stereotypical. It's just really really rare that you see 'preppy girls' and Goth girls hanging out together where I'm from.
Thank you for commenting on It's Fun Walking Through Your Own Funeral. I have a question about what you said, though.
I think you should work on more telling than showing. I actually got confused by that, because I've been told in all of my Writing/Literature classes that I need to show more. Make the reader see what I am. Maybe you meant something different than I did. Could you elaborate a little more on that, please?
Also, about the 'stereotypes'. In the school I go to, it's very typical that girls stop being friends or do not be friends with each other because of stereotypes. It's realistic in my school.
Hi there! This is just a reminder that there is only ONE WEEK until your entry for 'Themes Contest' is due.
( http://www.mibba.com/forums/topic/173798/ ) I can't wait to read everyone's entries!
Actually, it's set in 2012. Even now people are racist and they say whatever they want even on live TV. So...I have nothing else to say on the "dark skinned teen" thing. A few months ago in my area, the news person actually said black guy out loud and he didn't get in trouble for it.....
The thing is....there is going to be a lot of racism and sexism and other offensive things in the story :3
It shows how much people judge you from the color of your skin to the money in your pockets. The comment made by the reporter was to show that he/she was also racist or doesn't like dark skinned people (:
