I never did get America's affinity with marching bands... it just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe we're just lazier than you guys, but our bands tend to prefer to sit down when playing.
Um, fairly middling. Went to work this morning, was kinda slow all day. I feel a little like I'm sleep walking around the place. Oh, and the nasty council changed my mirror! Er, please don't think I'm insane. There's a mirror outside our gate to show people the traffic coming from the right at a T-junction. It used to be really huge, and I would wave at myself in it every day walking home. *Yes, I am aware I sound slightly vain!* But now they've replaced it with one of those tiny concave/convex circular ones. It's just not the same...
How about yourself?
I started posting the longer version of Tyrants and Liberartors.
Could you read it and tell me what you think?
You're the only one that ever does.
(which I appreciate by the way)
When you say tumble...did you pass out or something? I remember Karissa did. My throat is sore too. And I haven't even been yelling but just using my lungs and breathing a lot more than usual I guess. XD But we do count out loud sometimes, so meh.
Glad you appreciated! I loved immortal, I think you did perfectly with it on your own. Extremely out-of-the-box, but oh-so-right.
Hmm, okay, let me just look back for a mo...
Oh right, ok. It's just a lot longer than the rest. I'd either cut it in half, like so:
Sticks and stones may break my bones,
but words will never hurt me.
Or find some way of shortening it. Otherwise it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the poem.
