okay, this is the end of my raping of your comments.
I had some time to think about it.
here is my verdict:

DEFENSE:
our entire defense consists of rookies. we desperately need redden back. rozsival is giving pucks up, girardi and staal are careless and girardi was god awful the beginning of the season. staal has been improving but enough of the giveaways. there is no way we can win games with such a young blue-line.

OFFENSE:
our "offense" consists of 3rd/4th liners who can't bury the puck in the net. they can't even hit the post for gods sake. This team is a 1 man show (Gaborik). Does Torts actually think anyone besides Gaborik and Prospal can be a consistent goal scorer?

ATTITUDE:
Our team is falling apart. Something is going very, very wrong behind locked doors. I'm afraid that there is no chemistry whatsoever, or a team persona. This team had rebuilt itself every year, trading away key players for young, unexperienced, clueless players who don't have any heart or care in the world. I don't see anyone sticking up for our guys. When Gaborik and Crosby were shoving each other, some lunatic penguin starting smacking Gaborik while the rest of our guys drooled watching. What the hell?

GOALTENDING:
Valiquette has been extremely concerning, and Henrik honestly either:
1) needs to improve his saves on his glove side, because thats really his achille's heel right now.
2) needs to be benched. Look at the poor guy. He's emotionally distressed right now and for the sake of the team he needs some games to clear his head and get his act together. He is a much better goalie than he is playing right now, he's just taking on the weight of the entire team which is affecting both his mindset and his play.

Okay, I'm done rambling. But I'm so sick of year after year watching this team come out of the gate strong and by November sink into miserable playing.
