yeah well, apparently I'm a whiney bitch and all... so I'm no longer asking for comments - I'm also probably not going to write it very often... just be prepared for that. =(
I'm not quite sure... I just got back from my summer job without any internet, and now I'm on vacation and I start school soon. Which one do you like in particular? I'll try to update that one ASAP :D
Thanks so much! When you've never written a story about someone before, you worry that you aren't going to do a good job portraying them. So hearing that makes me smile! :)
We're excited too! I'm so happy you liked the first chapter!
Sonya's already working on the second one cause we're dorks and have no lives, hahaha.
Thanks so much!<3
You should be excited! Because Danielle and I are ECSTATIC and we hope everyone is going to love it. :) Thanks so much, first chapter SHOULD be posted tonight. :)
Haha, well, I'm mermaid-obsessed. I've done a lot of research into myths and how they're depicted in short stories, and poems, as well as the various things they symbolize. I actually got the title for Even Lovers Drown from a poem about a mermaid. So the lesbian mermaid story was a long time coming.
I've been wanting to do a mermaid story since I started writing Somewhere Weaknesses are Strength. That story was actually supposed to be a mermaid story, but I couldn't work it out.
But I like the idea I have. It has some elements from The Little Mermaid (from the original Hans Christian Anderson version and a bit from the Disney version) but it's different enough. I think it'll be fun.
Check out my most recent journal w/the timings of the last two clues. I link it the source [that tells the timings] on the end of the journal; it's Pottermore's blog.
