Yeah well I hate being able to figure out a book myself and enjoy the twist at the end so I'm really quite careful about how I go about the 'suspects' in my own story. I hope you'll be in for at least a little surprise at the end. If not, I'll be a little disappointed with myself. For the first...14 chapters or something I had no idea who I wanted to have done it. I think that's helped. So yeah :) Hints will be dropped later on but they're subtle. At least I hope they are...
Yes, I love that about mysteries too. It's rare to come across a good one though I find. Half the time I wander into a bookstore and am appalled at how many mystery novels are titles 'who killed blahblah?'
But I'm so glad to hear(read) that you're thinking about it! :D
And you've got a few guesses? *Interested* The list will get bigger as it gets more into it. Just so you know ;) Not by much though.
That's a good question! Um...I actually don't remember. I think I was listening to music or something at the time. It was a very spontaneous thought though. Something to do with a series of murders, came up with the 'family' as such, and then I got really paranoid that someone was watching me, so I wrote the first two chapters and then felt better and then came up with the December thing and it went from there. Very, very spontaneous though.
I'm glad people, other than me, consider it original :) I'm so sick of all the cliches so evident in writing today. It's like writing for the sake of writing, rather than taking the time to just let it all flow.
Hmm, The Lovely Bones with Jesse was amazing. What a beautiful movie!
Haha, now I feel cheesy. But really, every one of Peter Jackson's shots was just like WOAH.
