There's some real good original stuff on here, but I find for the most part it's dull. Yeah, I've started reading fanfiction again recently, but for the past year or so I've not really had much interest in it. It wasn't until I stumbled onto a pile of gems that I started reading them again.

I disagree there. I don't think Mibba is really the place to find gems, but I think there is a lot of really well written fan fiction. In fact I often find that some of it is better than a lot of original work. I think I'm quite picky though, so therefore I tend to skip over reading poorly written ones any more. There are a lot of good works out there. You just have to know where to search.

Ahhh I used to read a lot of JoBro ff but i never really found any that was particularly well written. There were always lots of good story lines, but some was just so poorly written it was painful. Same with Justin Bieber and All Time Low and Avenged Sevenfold. I was always a fan of Twilight fanfiction because so much of it was written by middle aged women with a good understanding of writing. Even though the books themselves were poorly written, the fanfiction was often brilliant.

Yeah I agree completely. I do love One Direction writers though, because there is such an array of them. I mean I remember being about 12 and writing my first fanfiction and it was awful! I mean my grammar and spelling were awful, and I don't claim it's perfect now but it's improved so much, and you get to see that in One Direction fics because you get such an array of writers; from pre-teens to people in their twenties, and it's great because you can see the younger writers learning from the older ones.

Well thank you, and she is! I didn't want another character that was going to be like the rest, and I think she's kind of got that. I think she's stronger and a lot more accepting than a lot of characters that I read about, especially in 1D fics, and I just wanted to have her be able to cope with certain situations like the press a little better, she's still learning, but she'll get there. And I will, thank you! That sounds like a brilliant idea! :D

I'm really glad you like her! I'm so unsure about her, I never know what I'm doing with her, or what she's supposed to be like at all!
