My family can only handle each other in small doses, so that family is heading out of town now. I think that's pretty special.
Do you? My family just eats and runs.

I don't think anything has ever been as relaxing to me as Night After Sidewalk is. Close Your Eyes & You'll Burst Into Flame jumps to mind because it's so awesomely weird.

I can see that. There seems to be a very... romanticized thought with some hard drugs. Especially Heroine, Ecstasy, and Meth. Truthfully, I can see that though. An easy excuse to end problems for the time being sounds lovely.

Uh, it depends really. I'm pretty sure all across the country French class is mandatory until Middle school, and then you can chose to drop it or continue. Except New Brunswick they teach it all through in a class, and in Quebec you go to French school.

Yeah, I love Kaki King! But I usually have to listen to a lot of an artist to really get into them, but I fell in love with her right away. What's your favorite song by her?

Is she really? I thought it was just them talking.
Have you ever listened to Missy Higgins? (I don't know why I'm so on the topic of music)
I think you mentioned liking Rachael Cantu a while back, and I think they have similar styles. Her voice is amazing too.

American's have it good, in the french Department then. In Canada you learn the same thing in French from grade 1-6. It's terrible.

Ah, drugs aren't for me. My friends on the other hand can get enough of them.

It depends what French you learn. It's different in Canada than it is in France. It means red-head here, but I think it's like Redhead-one there. Who knows.

    HAH. Stoners make me laugh.

Wow, that actually sounds relaxed. Unfamiliar concept.
We don't go to church, but all of them are really religious.
Have you heard Tegan & Sara's christmas song? They covered the Chipmunk Song and it even has chipmunk-ified T&S voices! I really don't have words for it, it's so awesome.

Besides a split seam. OH MY GOD the first cello I rented got a split seam because I accidentally rammed it into a doorway. I ended up from renting the cello I have now from this place, because it would be so expensive to repair.

They're pretty awesome, I would highly suggest you check em' out. They're mainly just a bunch of guys with cellos. There might be a fiddle or two in there too.

What're you doing for Christmas? I'm spending it with my type-A crazy homophobic bible-thumping slightly racist southern family. I have one liberal cousin who I will probably spend the whole day talking about guitars with.

For some reason I couldn't say Uh Huh Her for the longest time. I'd just refer to them as "That band Leshia, YOU KNOW. THEM" The same when I first heard La Roux. I thought Ely was stupid and didn't realize La was masculine, and would call them Le Roux as a 'Fuck you' type thing (Although, I adore them). I finally got the joke. :|

Oh lord, in Winnipeg 4.20 is huge. I went to visit my dad out there one year during it. I swear to god every single resident of the city was there. Here it's just eh. Most of the boho kids are already stoned anyways- it's not much of a difference :|

LOL. I swear to god the Californian government has too much time on their hands. I mean, instead of trying to fixing the fact they're dead broke, they think, "Hey, lets legalize pot and jack the price up a shit load! We'll make money for sure." I mean, obviously people are going to still buy it illegally because it would be hella cheaper. And no doubt another fundamentalist group will get their panties in a bunch over it and it'll be made illegal, again.

    /rememberprop8?ahurhur

On that topic, does America have 4.20?

I love when people try to pronounce it. It comes out so awkward "An a horse?" "No, an horse", "Ah. A horse." "NO, AN HORSE. YOU MOTHER FUCKER. AN. HORSE."

Nanks! Normally I don't find her all that cute, but that picture is just adorable. UNF.

TNSQ is a fanfiction site, somewhat. It's so much more laid back compared to the .ca. So is the L Chat, I supposed, but everyone there tries to be head bitch of the internet.

Yeah, weed used to be legal in Toronto, and then some one got really offended or some shit and they banned it again. I'm pretty sure in Vancouver there's some neighborhood where every store is a weed cafe, too. I love your user name change, by the way. :3

I considered that, but it's also going to last for a long time, unless I'm an idiot and break it or something. The guy at this shop has a cello from 1768.
Speaking of cello, have you ever listened to Apocalyptica?

I rent one from a local place. It's a pretty good cello for a rental. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to buy one or just continue to rent. I have a track record of not sticking with instruments.
Do you play anything else besides cello and guitar?

Is it? I know it was in Ontario for a years when I was a teenager.

Not many people go on the .ca anymore, it seems. It's too much like high school. Love the TNSQ though. :3
