Hey I just wanted to let you know that I'm in the same situation that you are. I live in Missouri and my bf is in Texas. Our one year anniversary is this month. All I can say that if you love him, that's all that matters.
But the only difference is that my bf does indeed have a job. But hes going off to train for the air force in august so I won't see him maybe till september. But he does love me. I know that much. I just....know. And that is not really something you can explain to people.
And if you know he loves you..well that's great. You will get through it. Trust me

I'm glad that you can relate to the story. ((: That's partially why I wrote it, because so much happens in band, and I've always thought that there should be a book written about it. Finally, when I came to the realization that it was highly unlikely a book would ever come out about a marching band, I took it upon myself to write it. ((:
