Thanks, and yes, I did indeedy. Some pretty great news, even if everyone would have preferred if he could walk right up there to accept it himself. But now it's like the world has given a little something back to his family for bringing up such a talented, amazing person :)

haha yep. Actually this particuliar ex is picking him up next weekend and taking him to her house 3 hours away cuz he is buying a car from her parents. I'm a bit worried but I trust him so it shall be okay.

haha gummy bears are yummy. Before I moved here I was talking to Dave on the phone and Josh was about to go to the store so I told Dave to tell Josh to get me some whipped cream and strawberries. I didn't know at the time that his girlfriend was here and she got pissed off lol. But now they are broken up and he is my boyfriend so I get to be all like 'what now bitch?' lol

You saying you felt proud of me made me feel proud of myself, lol. I don't know if you noticed it when reading it, but the thing I like most about that story is that at the start it's kind of rubbishy, and as you go though you can kind see that my writing gradually gets better.

To hear that you liked it so much makes me really happy, hearing stuff like that from my readers makes me so much more motivated.
There were points in the story, particularly the last few chapters where i would sit down and after sitting there for about an hour, fingers poised over the keys, i'd have written one sentence which would sound all wrong and I'd have to delete it. a couple of days I'd sit for hours and hours and come up with nothing!
It's really great to hear that it still all sounds ok though.
