no body messes with me where I live, despite my religion of choice. Though I know my mother's going to be dragging me to church soon. *sigh* It's going to be TOO awkward for me. Though she made a comment about Wicca being christian based earlier today and I rose my eyebrow.
But I don't think that would ever happen to us :D I'm not really a "closet" wiccan, but I haven't gained any enemies at all so no one is going to burn me...yet. lol
People are born and raised to be like that, brainwashed and told not to think for themselves. I have never had anything against Christians or Catholics, because I hate generalizing a whole religion as "bad" or "meaningless". But most big churches, such as my great-grandmother's church, are all about the politics in religion and those raised to big churches are basically brainwashed.
Yes, seeing the churches in Europe absolutely amazed me, though I couldn't connect with the buildings on a spiritual connection they were absolutely beautiful.
My mother doesn't take me to church, in fact she rarely goes, though her heart belongs to Jesus and God and I truly respect her for that.
Hahaha I went to church with a bestie of mine a couple a weeks ago, because I had stayed the night before Sunday....I wore my bullet for my valentine jacket, with a skull and two guns on it and the Big Guy stared at me all the time because I just sat there, laughing at how mediocre the church ones.
The churches I say in Europe were far better...and the choir I sung in for those churches didn't suck.
True, but my mother would never make the trip up the mountain to drop me off for something she doesn't belief in. And my friend's family stopped going because they live WAY out of town. I don't know who else could take me.
Sometimes, being the minority sucks. !_! However, I do know that in Casper, the religion is very popular. More so then I thought. We actually have a national park dedicated to a witch whose name started with an N, and you walk this path that has this story about it and the house she lived in is very old and cool looking. The place is called Crimson Dawn, and the four major Sabbats they hold a bonfire and tell the tales...the same ones over and over lol. So I never go.
