why yes indeed, your url does pwn. -slow nod-

i use safari! but instead of a squiggly line on safari it's a bunch of antialiased dashes. >:/

i think you ought to put it in the story (even though it might not have a place in it) because it doesn't have to make sense until you edit it, right? right? no? ok. lmfao

virtual fist pump for abusing Mibba smileys. on other sites i have a habit of typing the code for it. Facepalm

you should write it down somewhere and then, years later, when you meet bella face to face, go like, "i believe you owe me some words" and brandish the paper! /overly dramatic. haha well, let the reign of perverted jokes begin! actually no that would kind of no. just no. (although did you know there's a 69 in your url? XD)

i turned off spell check in word so i could invent words, but mostly because that red squiggly line? yeah, irks me to no end. it still does the autocorrect thing, thank god, because if it DIDN'T have those curly apostrophes i'd probably kill someone.

yay for the history of the earth...? i mean, it'll definitely up your word count, so that's a bonus. :-)

dude, i am so abusing the XD emoticon.

oh my god i am so so so jealous of bella. XD she's written so much and i'm only at 22.5k right now. but i get the analogy. also, casually noting the 69 at the end of your comparison. /pervertedness

oh i tried to get yW off the site but as it turns out my computer is a nasty little thing and wouldn't let the thing work. also, i realise it's awfully early to think about it, but are you doing julno? XD

ugh i know, right? writers block is god awful. i had writers' block for 2 months or so over the summer and i was intent on doing julno... guess who didn't even start the first day? yup. and random caps lock is quite cool.

derp and i just wrote lots and gave up on separating things into chapters (even though the chapter titles would probably up my word count. ack.)

erp i always make the mibba layout first, and if i like it i write it. if i don't, i won't. XD

i bid you good luck. writer's block is such a nasty thing and it just creeps up from behind and goes BOO and while you're still reeling it steals your creativity... ok maybe not THAT dramatically, but, y'know.

derp i never actually thought of using mibba drafts. xD and i completely nicked the pdf idea from this person on the NaNo backing up thread on the NaNo forums. it also helps that my friends are willing to accept such a large file, cos the one that i sent her was 36 pages in size 10 garamond, which, i have discovered, is quite tiny, but i love the font.

i'm such a nitpicky layout-er. like when i write stories, i've made this background that specially fits word documents that way it's like a border along the sides of the doc. and then i zoom in to 140% and spend ages picking fonts. guh. Facepalm but in the end i enjoy writing it cos it looks nice. whoo. XD

derp i'm jealous of how much you've written! >.<

damn my rewriting. i've only just started to actually reach the daily word count on a daily basis, but i've been backing my stuff up by saving it as a pdf and sending it to my friends. xD so i guess that's good.

Regardless of whether or not it's the same, or rewriting, 42 is A LOT to write in seventeen days!!!

Safe dash is when you stop things with certain tags, right? I didn't like the sound of that from the off. I just scroll quickly and hope. The only way, really. Or getting a tumblr implant for you brain so that you can see tumblr on the inside of your eyelids and scroll with your eye movements.

    Because yeah, that's totally possible.

Ha, sods law, eh? Like when you're just cas scrolling down your dash on tumblr and a family member comes in just when there's some really... awkward.. fan art or something :')

heh i wish. but i'm going to hong kong for thanksgiving, which i don't celebrate (whoo go american holidays!) and hong kong is like the only part of china that doesn't have the great firewall of china, so. File

that's good! i think you're at 17k now (i just checked the thread) and so am i, which is kind of pathetic on my bit, seeing as i rewrote it which was really stupid and i'd probably be at like 23k right now which is only 6k away. hopefully i'll get there and hopefully you'll get to where you were! :D

Yeah, I wanna know if I can finish SOMETHING. Maybe then I'll feel more motivated about other things.

Yep, there's just no way to say it and make it okay X'D

ugh, i know, right? and i'm not sure this has happened anywhere else, but in china you can't see your own blog! or anyone else's! you can only go on the dash. >:/ this bit really bugs me. hello, i want to see how pretty my blog is /lie.

i can see how it would remind you of it, though. :/ not that i've ever seen/heard of bannock, but i kind of see how it relates, yanno? i didn't write anything over the weekend. i feel very unaccomplished. and then i got a C on my french test, and when i looked it over i realised that all my mistakes were of the careless sort. which means there were lots. so now i have no motivation to write, haha.

Late reply is realllly late >< I had a little lie down on my bathroom floor (it's underheated tehe) then worked worked worked. Blah.

Last minute is just so much better (minus the stress etc.)
Ah, I'm really bad with deadlines too (worrying) but it's what I've always ALWAYS wanted to do so I stick it through. Plus my ego can get pretty inflated at times ;D
Also, I feel sorry for kids because of all the crap they have to read nowadays File and every time I'm in a bookshop i'm like 'I could do so much better!' so then I try. I've never finished anything before though :/ XD

Every time I imagine it I have to chuckle to myself.

Ah, I do that all the time XD

I was always the person who didn't :') so it's a bit of a task for me. Hence the whole last minute aspect of things.

I think my mum just wants me to balance them. She knows i am one hundred percent serious about writing, and that I do want to make it my future. School is just a way for me to survive in the in between, while I'm busy being broke and working on my novel XD then qualifications come in handy.

The other day though, she said that she was proud of me for sticking with my writing. I was actually so happy. I wasn't expecting her to say it.

And I could never imagine telling my mum to 'calm her tits' XD XD not even a little. The idea is hilarious though!

Ahh, they never stop chasing, trust. Well, sort of. My lit teacher had a bit of a hissy fit the other day because like five people had done the reading, but mostly they're all just 'well if you fail it's your money going to waste.'

Oh hell yeah, we will do it together :D I have loads of deadlines rn so actually getting NaNo done is hell on my school work (because obviously I prioritise NaNo!)

Haha, I'm doing my degree in French and Lit :') so lots of essay writing for me. Thankfully though, my Lecturer for this class doesn't want us to write the actual essay in French, which is nice :D

Also, bleh, I'm doing a degree! I shouldn't be allowed to be that old!! I feel about fourteen still XD lmfao

Exactamundo! In fact, I think you have the right idea! Maybe I should do a rewrite...

Okay, so it's waaayyy different if I do one, even though I sorely need to Sad ah, well! There's always December :D

Forgive my also lateness. I got a hit of inspiration and yeah, broke 18k :D and got halfway to 19k ^^ real happy :D

Hhm, a bit bizarre, but I should think it will be fixable. Arms good luck on regaining the story!!

Download the Scrivener free trial :) It has a spell checker, although it's not so hot with the grammar checker (which becomes a problem when bad grammar starts to like me a bit more than I want...)
    Plus it's free.
Free stuff is always awesome :D
