Hello, Results were ok, a bit better than last time, I didn't see two D's just one this time! I got an A in Maths which I am pleased with and my first ever further maths exam i got a B 4 mrks away from an A so that I am really happy with, a C in Biology and Geography and a D in Chemistry, no suprises there! I don't know what I am doing wrong I am still not doing that much better in Bio, I retook the exam and still got a C, In Geog I retook the exam that I got a D in and got an A but as that is only 30% of the grade it doesn't really matter, the big exam i got a C in, which rounded the grade off to a C!

You go to a grammar school? What's that like? I never finished 7th form, school got boring for me when I started 6th form, and when I moved to Wellington and changed schools, I never really tried eh!

Well the first year starts off ok and goes smootly but then all of a sudden its December and your first batch (notice how batch is close to bitch...haaa sorry! that pretty much explained my first year!) of exams come along and you are thrown in the deep end and it becomes very stressful very easily! It's definitely not that easy. There is a lot to cram in, into one topic and for one exam. One thing I wish I did was revise and look over notes wayyyy before the exams instead of doing it like 2-3 weeks before the exams. My advice to you is, revise a little everyday, even if it's one sentence!
What exam board did you do for science stuff? If you did Edexcel like me and had to do the multiple choice questions at gcse like I did, then I would say get ready for written questions in bio! gcse doesn't prepare you for it at all! Avoid retakes if you can! It's a hassle to do retakes on top of your May/June exams. I had to retake 3 exams making my total of exams in May/June 9!
I don't want to scare you! But it's not all bad. I kinda prefer having an exam at the end of one unit, even though the units are huge!
I would to keep yourself sane, have some fun in between to distance yourself from work! Overload is not good! OH, and do not go to a concert the night before an exam, it will not end well. I did that and got a D! I wasn't that big of a fan of the band to begin with but they were great! Haaa funnily enough I did the same thing for the same band the week before my May/June exams! I sound like a hypocrite. Unless its Avenged or some band you really really like don't do it!
That would be soooo cool if you got into a London Uni. I am only applying for one London Uni though! so the chances are against us! But I honestly don't know if I can leave home and the great gig venues of London but no doubt I will be back in the holidays. The Uni will like your subjects if they are related to your course and you do good enough in them! Any other places you are planning on looking at?

Ha ha no that is fine. No I don't hate you lol. I don't hate you at all. Well I am at my Dad's now. Before I was at my Mother's and I was surprised by how much attention I got from being home. My mother's weekend was fine. I don't know if I am going to go this weekend. I went to her house on Dad's lolz. But I am back and glad. Over all I am pretty good. You?

I've been good, seeing all them comments for The Beast and the Harlot means I'm being pushed to write lol, which is good because I haven't been constantly writing like I used to. I need to get back into that :D I've been listening to music to try help me inspire. Slowly getting there haha.
If you don't mind me asking, what school you go to? I noticed you use the term "form" like how we do in NZ :)

Yeah we have 6th form rules too that no one follows and then when it comes to calling out those who aren't following the rules our head of year tends to pick on the quiet ones and not the gobby ones, which is really annoying!
Yep not being able to wear band t shirts is definately stupid!
Chemistry being hard is an understatement when you have a teacher who doesn't know what the fuck they are doing and can't make a decision by themselves without consulting the head of departement, but the head of science who was on maternity leave is coming back so for those who are doing chemistry it should be better. although she will probably tell the whole class how much we sucked! sayin that though when she taught last years class her class got all U's apart from one who got a D, our class did better but not by much, we got 2 A's 2 D's and then the rest of the class got E's and U's! Biology is alright if you don't mess about and do the work and learn everything! There is a hell of a lot to learn, tooo many names and definitions and stuff there's a lot to cram in and only about 10% of it comes out in the exam, but it's one of the subjects I am doing better in apart from maths. I shouldn't speak too soon, we get results on Thursday!!! I am soo scared! Definitely stick to the subjects that are similar, if you have random subjects that don't fit well together it will go against you at Uni, which is why I am glad I didn't pick Art otherwise I would have had to repeat the year, which is not good. And I think I should end my essay here before I take over the whole page! Haaa!
