Yes, I've wondered that too from time to time. But I've heard that animals have a natural sense for good people. I suppose they're attracted to our auras, or perhaps they can understand that we hold respect for them. I'm not sure, really. Well, that does sound like a rather depressing sight.

Those are rather charming names.

Funnily enough, a cat followed my sister when we were on our paper route today. She, the cat, seemed rather enamored with my sister - the cat wouldn't stop purring every time Renee came near her. It was greatly amusing to watch.
We then proceeded to name her Luna since she greatly resembled a cat we knew bearing the same name.

I understand. I feel the same way from time to time. =]
