Yep. That's why I prefer my online friends. Here in Australia, I only really have one friend. She lives right around the corner from me. I have another best friend that I met online, she lives in Wisconsin. Even though we've never met, we're really tight. Like sisters.

People online that are actually genuine...they're amazing. I love you guys. (=

Yep, so true. Although most girls are bitches through and through. There are so few that I can stand. I prefer the company of guys so long as they're not the typical rev-headed, I-wanna-get-in-your-pants type. >.<

I know what you mean. If I don't know someone, I'm kinda quiet around them. Working at McDonald's has made me more confident, though. I talk more, and at the parties I go to I've started talking to complete strangers.

It's hard, though. I don't drink alcohol but everybody else does, so they're all so relaxed and I'm all tense. But the people I work with are amazing - they don't pressure me to drink. They respect that I don't, and they're awesome.

Stoners, huh? That sucks. =/ I work with a guy like that, but he's pretty friendly. Of course, I don't go out to places with him, so maybe he's just nice at work. o.o

Yeah, fair enough. I was always shy in school, but I was lucky enough to have my best friend (we've been besties since kindergarten) come to high school with me. Whoever she hung out with, I hung out with. Unfortunately we landed ourselves with a group of morons - who pretty much ditched us the second school was over. Good riddance.

Yeah, I hear ya. We had two levels of English - Standard and Advanced - and I took Advanced with only one other friend. It was such a relief, getting away from the majority of my group. Being around people who spoke properly for an hour or so. I kinda miss it...

Ughhhhh, that must be super annoying. >.< I wouldn't be able to handle that ALL THE TIME. I'm lucky that I mostly work with people who're seventeen or older, so they speak alright English and not all casual slang. I think I'd go mad if I was still stuck in school, listening to it all.

Yeah, everybody speaks netspeak and slang these days. -_- If I hear one more person say "L. O. L." out loud, I'm going to shoot myself. Or them. Either way.

ROFL!! Yeah, I getcha. Those words scare me. I'd like to learn Russian, but they write in cryllic - so, no chance of reading there. D= Why does the world have to be so complex?!

Wow, that's real weird. How you can only roll 'em in that one word. And YAY for finding somebody else who can't!! =D

LOL. Speaking a little is better than speaking none at all. *nods*

Glad to know I'm not the only one. ;) They tried to teach us Italian in Primary School. I was the only one in my class who couldn't roll my r's. =(

I don't know mine, either. =P Ah well.

I always wanted to learn too, but I never had the time. Besides, I'm not too good with pronouncing things. I can speak flawless English besides the fact that some words just come out sounding wrong. It's like a lisp, but not a lisp. *shrug* That's why I write.

Maybe one day we'll both learn and be able to have conversations that only other French people will understand. XD

Yes, they do. I had a friend who joined Mibba a while back. She didn't appear in the recently joined, so I used the numbers in the URLs. It was pretty fun, trying to figure out her usernumber. XD Eventually I got it.

Dude, morphine is French? XD Sweet.

Ha. I kept my first stuff up. It's Harry Potter stuff, and back in the day I was actually really popular. Which is pretty sad. I really should delete it soon. It's embarrassing.

Dude, why doesn' this site have a user search function? I can't find your other account. <_< Damn you, Mibba. Damn you.

Yes, yes, I completely agree. I've been reading this Taylor Swift/All Time Low story called, "You Belong With Me" and it basically follows the video for said song, with a few things added here and there. It's a pretty good story, but it has the potential to be something absolutely amazing. If only people knew...

I try not to complain too much, though. I look back at the stuff I posted when I was 13, 14, 15 and I cringe. It's horrible, but in the end it helped me grow as a writer. Everybody learns somehow - all we can do is help them along.

    Sweet. XD

Yeah, I've noticed that. I'm yet to find a story on here that I fall in love with. Everything I've read has been done before. I'm gonna start searching for the diamonds in the rough. There's got to be something amazing out there with this many writers around.

I feel special for knowing that. =P I'll be sure to check it out - I need some good OF to read.

Some people on FF.net are just amazing. I was reading some Twilight fanfic a while back. I HATE Twilight, but I couldn't stop reading that fic. It was called "Wide Awake" I think, and it just blew me away. I never finished reading, though. It stopped getting written on FF.net and went to LiveJournal. =/

Ooh, secret username. That's really smart. =P And in this userbase of 150,000, nobody would ever know. XD Ha.

Yeah, FanWorks has kinda gone to hell. In the A7X section, anyway. I dunno about the others - I stopped reading them. annie_vengeance is an amazing writer, though her chapters are EXTREMELY long (like, 25,000 - 30,000 words long). Still, if you ever get a spare few days ( =P ) you should check out her story MAKE-BELIEVE. I read for three days non-stop 'cause I was addicted.

Ha. I got all excited when I realised I could change my name on here, but I've sort of adopted "Haylie Jaed" as a penname. It just...sticks. It means something to me, so I use it.

I know what you mean about not writing. I had a week where it was all I did - I finished a lot of my old story "Crash Into Me", but now...eh. I'm trying to get back into original fiction - hopefully will have one up on here soon.

You seem to have quite a bit on here. I'll have to read it. ;) FanWorks is...sorta dying. We have some amazing new writers, but a lot of new blehh people. =/ It sucks. I miss the old days.

It's good to see you around!! XD *adds you as a friend* I swear, this is a social networking site in disguise...
