You know, I'm beginning to think that you've lost inspiration for Veni, Vidi, Vici.
I really hope that's not the case and that you'll update as soon as you can. :)

Hope everything's going good for you. :)

yeah I've always found the 'mom' thing weird too.
The centre of oxford doesn't have many corporate buildings. It has lots of old university buildings and quite a few old building turned into shops but not many head quater things, or at least they are well disguised.
(Oh except as you get into some of the university areas there are new science buildings)
    These are two central streets
    Cornmarket (is pedestrianised)

thought you might but I've seen a few people who don't know the link and it would be something I wanted to know.
    I will definitely keep reading.
I will say again (but I said it about three times in my latest story comment) sorry if it seems critical. I really have to learn how to describe what I like about stories but sadly I am only good at offering advice (normally useless advice) so sorry it if comes off badly it wasn't meant to :)

Sorry for the late reply! My laptop blew up... :/
And no problem! I'm glad it helped. I know a lot about OCD and mental disorders, so I'm happy to help (:
A compulsion should be relatively easy to come up with; just think of fears. They're basically extreme fears that the person believes that they have control over. The most common ones are to do with death. Also, OCD can be developed after a tragic event as a means of coping with things, so I don't know if that helps too.

Haha, no problem! Wikipedia can be really hard to understand :D

    No problem at all XD

I get what you mean, haha. OCD isn't about cleanliness actually; that's what it's commonly misinterpretted to be. OCD is any form of obsessive behaviour, such as counting, tapping, jumping or even straightening things up that the person feels like they NEED to do. The thing that makes it OCD and not just an obsession is WHY they need to do it. That's the compulsion part. For example, do they feel like their family is going to die if they DON'T count a certain amount of times? Do they think that they will die if they don't do it? It's a form of irrational thinking that they person believes wholey. They can often believe that they've been chosen and that they're the only person like that, and usually don't listen to people who try to rationalise.

When someone tries to stop them from doing one of their rituals, they completely freak out. The irrational thoughts get worse, and often they think that they have to do more to make up for it. The way to treat OCD is through behaviour therapy, where they're taught to take small steps and see if anything bad will happen. If nothing happens, they learn that their fear is irrational.

Oh my god, that's a lot. I just got that from the top of my head, haha. Sorry if I'm swamping you, but I hope this helps!

I do love your story; you're an amazing writer! Let me know if you need anything else :)
