Me too! I hate people who don't accept the fact that not everyone has the same beliefs. One of my friends is like that, and he just makes me want to kick puppies sometimes...

6 years? Sheesh! Haha, thats pretty funny. I dont know where we (as a band) would be without our band director. He's kind of famous too. You know the Michigan Fight Song? "Lets Go Blue!" ?
See, our school just moved down leagues. We used to be a AAA school, but now we're a AA school, and our population is about 900 this year. Basically out band is about 90-100 kids big. 80 kids in band is a lot for a 600 member school!
YOUR MARCHING BAND DOES FIELDSHOW?! :DDDD I love taking to kids who do field show! We understand so much more about the football field than the football players do! Those shows sound so great, i wish my director would let us do it! The computer-themed show sounds a little sketchy, in my opinion. Judges usually go for the shows that have a story line. I've noticed that my band does REALLY well with those kind of shows. My freshman year we did Disney's Fantasmic, which was like a show in Disneyland or something. We did really well! Last year, we did a Steely Dan show, which was just music and it was kinda boring. This year, we're doing Disneys The Incredibles and I'M SO PUMPED! I already have memorized the first piece and we don't start until September :)
We combine our bands--one band for symphonic and marching. I love marching more too, personally. In symphonic band i switch over to flute, which is super boring :p We do pretty well in symphonic band competitions, so i dont complain too much haha.

Aren't teachers supposed to keep religion and national politics out of their classrooms? I was always under the impression that they were supposed to keep their religious/political beliefs to themselves...

See, we've had our band director for 20 years as of this year (not counting the years where he taught at another school), so he's had some time to perfect his teaching strategy haha. Wow, that is quite a small band! Our band makes up about a 9th or 10th of our school population. We have 1 band year round--as in marching and symphonic is combined.

See, in english we sort of had an English "final 2 weeks" Because my stupid english teacher decided that he'd stack ALL of our big tests in 2 weeks--the week before finals week AND during finals week. Not to mention at my school, all our assessments are worth 75% of our final grade :/ I could've literally failed English in one week.

Our school is really big in academics and extra curricular. Band especially, because we win SO many awards. So a lot of the band kids do things like write music, learn a different instrument, and host band competitions/festivals. It's really cool :)

I sucked at my math and science finals... but i killed my english! :) haha.

Music was my alternative, but since EVERYONE in band basically does a music senior project, i decided to do something a little different :)

I get out in a week... UGH. I'm dying to just get out already!! I have 2 finals next week... Life sucks :p

Yeah, we have "senior projects" that we have to do. I'm going to write a book! :D

We didn't get any snow days this year, and THANKGOD too because we would've been in school even longer! I remember one year we got out like, June 24th. It SUCKS.

Haha, well i get out sometime next month. I want to say like June 21st? It's going to be a looooooong last month of school. I'm already sick of it! lol

Still! I dont even get the chance for them to meet him. If he's interested in me, I better steer clear because i'm dead if they caught me with a guy behind their backs.

At least your brothers care. Mine couldn't give a rip if I went out and dated half a million guys! Not that I'm allowed to anyway. Strict Asian-parental rules :/
