If you're friend is under sixteen, she's going to have to wait a while. Most bands/venues won't hire anyone under eighteen let alone sixteen.

Her best bet is getting in contact with her local venue (if it's an O2 Academy or a huge venue, she'll have no chance) and befriend the promoter. That way, she can get in with bands and once you're friends with bands, you're set. I tour with local bands now thanks to it all but honestly, I started because I'm a journalism student at college who needed a bit of photography on the back of it.

Since I have less than a handful of entries so far, I am extending the deadline by a week for those who need it. Entries will now be due no later than February 1st!

I met him at a show in Wien this time last year. It was somewhere near enough to Wien that he could come for the night and then drive back home in decent time.

I've got some friends living around Vienna. I went to visit someone in Baden while I was there and I know people in Wiener-Neustadt and one of those cities that has three words in the name--one of which being a preposition. :)

I'm not actually Austrian, but when I started my profile I was living in Austria. I'm a German minor so I've studied abroad in Germany and Austria. Where are you from? I lived in Graz. Next fall I'm going to Czech Republic.
