Haha, we usually edit story titles if they have incorrect capitalization, tags, and decoration. We also check if they're rated correctly and if they're the correct type. Oh! We also approve books.
So accurate though. I'll be celebrating every birthday 'till I'm a senior citizen around this place. Unless something crazy happens that I'm forced to leave. In fact, it's almost been a year that I've been a blog mod which is really exciting to me. I think that would make me appear to be pathetic IRL but oh well.
-Breathes into paper bag excesssively- (okay maybe not that extreme) BUT STILL A WHOLE NEW WORLD
I completely agree with you! Seeing staff interact so in-depth with members is part of the reason I was so excited to get involved, everyone is treated so respectfully on Mibba and wow I never want to leave this site -turns 60-.... -still here-
Just wait until you start messaging people, that's when the reality of it sets in.
It's all good; we have each other on social media outside of Mibba so it's not a complete loss. But yeah, it's awesome how on Mibba, the staff actually likes their jobs and actively participate in the community. Faceless staff on other sites make me really appreciate Mibba that much more.
So many people are going to look at you and be so scared now. That title just does things.
That's such a good reason and the Forums are preeeetty important so they're in capable hands.
Funny story, I didn't actually choose to be a mod. One of my friends was a blog mod but decided to resign because she was getting a full time job IRL and didn't get online as much as before. It was a sad time. But then I was messaged by Katie, asking me if I'd like to fill in that spot. I was so surprised because I've been in the Blogs section since it was the Journals section so of course I said sure. And that's the story!
and yeah! I guess she is like a little stuffie
