My friend(another member of the dorky, library kid club, like me) says it's weird that I don't like books that are super descriptive. But I'd rather the author just get to the point they're trying to make, then get back to the action. But that's just me. I've always been an adreneline junkie.
I was the little kid that jumped off the monkey bars and swings, much to the teachers' annoyance :D
I guess it's easier to say what I don't like, considering a read so much. I hate most sci-fi novels, because I can't get past the strangeness of it all. And if a book doesn't hook me in by the third paragraph, I'll probably get bored and stop readin it all together. And the really corny books bother me too.
And, no offense if you like them, but I'm not a fan of the Twilight books. There's just something about them.... that just bothers me.
I'm a little of both. Most of my writing pieces never really make it past the scatch paper they're born on. I'm a bit overly critical of myself, so normally I don't share very much. And I read A TON of books in my spare time, and always have a stack of favorites under my bed. It's a little hard to sort through the good and bad ones on here though. I story will have a great title and summery, and then be really poorly written.
i have about 3 others completed and a bunch of ideas i had started to write and about 50 poems :D i love reading too. i have a library of more then 200 books in my room
