Hey there, thank you very much for your comment on my poem. It meant more than I can tell you! It really means a lot to me when a reader can connect with what I write. Thanks for sharing about your dad too and yeah I get what you mean. I feel the same way about someone I lost when I was young too. Like I'm trying to remember him and I'm trying to remember the love I felt for him but for some reason I can't and I wonder if it was really there. But you know, even if we can't remember, as kids we love the people who love us so I guess that the love was there.
