Yes, Emi and Thalia do live without parents (which you'll find out why later). They live with their aunt who happens to be a raging alcoholic. The reason I never brought it up to much is because I wanted to be like this secret Emi had kept, even from the readers.... Sorry for the confusion. I need to work on that.

Hey! I don't know when I'll get a chance to update again. School's pretty busy right now. The semester is nearing an end and teachers are trying to pack everything into these last few weeks since we missed a lot of days because of snow days and stuff. So I'm being swamped with stuff. Plus then I'll be studying for finals. I'll try and get something out hopefully within the next week or so, but if not then I don't see me updating until after my finals, which end on May 21st. So sorry you'll have to keep waiting, but I'll try and make it up to you :)
