Ron saw himself as Head Boy, Quidditch Captain; basically everything his older brothers made themselves stand out for. Because he was always overshadowed by their achievements, I created a world where Ron was an only child and his parent's pride and joy. I did the same with Harry and him seeing his family in the Mirror of Erised.

I've got an explanation on Hagrid coming in the next chapter. The explanation about Remus and Sirius I'm not so sure on. I know there's a chapter that will have them in it, but I'm not sure where that will go.

My inspiration for changing the Weasley family came from what Ron saw in the Mirror of Erised. Getting rid of Fred and George though, was not an option. They're some of my favorite characters.
